ages. The kids can catch sunnies right off the docks. At 512
acres, the lake provides the perfect habitat for game and
panfish alike and is ideal for family fishing as well as
water sports. Unwind in our lakeside hammock or join in the
fun at the beach. Enjoy our two acre playground or take our
bikes for a ride around the lakes area. Walk along the Paul
Bunyan Trail to Nisswa. Stop and enjoy the unique shops.

 Vacationers coming to the lake country treasure the natural gifts that God has bestowed upon us. Sky blue waters and verdant green forests teem with wildlife. Overhead, the nighttime sky is illuminated by an ever visible Milky Way and an occasional radiating curtain of the Aurora. Sugar sand beaches grace shorelines as eagles glide routinely overhead. Amidst this natural beauty many families have made Eagles Nest their “Up North” tradition.
Our children have grown up here at Eagles Nest, and many of our guests have been coming since they were kids. A guest once commented, “It’s like a little village - it’s so
comfortable and everyone is so friendly.” You can sit around the campfire and hear stories of what the resort and the Nisswa area were like when the train’s whistle could be heard day and night. You can make new friends and renew the acquaintance every year as you meet up again. You may meet a family with the fourth generation beginning their tradition of a summer vacation at Eagles Nest.
