To our Eagles Nest Families regarding COVID-19

We hope everyone is well and staying safe. We are working hard to ensure your safety, as well as the safety of our staff, here at Eagles Nest during this time. The following changes have been made to meet CDC and industry guidelines wherever possible.

Check-In

Your cabin will be ready for you at the time of arrival. We are moving regular check-in time to 5:00pm. We know this is later than usual but the extra time will allow us to implement enhanced cleaning procedures. We will be in touch with daily reservations regarding check in times. We are asking that only one guest per cabin come into the office to check in and we will be taking payment at that time. If there is already a guest in the office feel free to continue to your cabin and come check in at a later time. If you’d prefer we can also take your payment over the phone.

Housekeeping Changes

We have added extra disinfectant protocols to our cleaning procedure. We are also asking that you bring your own pillows and blankets during this time. Mattress pads and sheets will be provided. If you need sheets for the sleeper sofas please let us know ahead of your arrival. We can provide blankets and pillows if necessary, please call ahead of time. We will provide an initial stock of paper products in the cabin but we are unable to provide toilet paper and paper towels for the entire stay. These products have been available locally but still have purchase limits that prevent us from being able to provide them for the whole week. A checklist will be provided in the cabin for checkout procedures. Please respect check out time so that we have plenty of time to prepare the cabins.

Communal Areas and Events

In accordance with CDC and state guidelines all Eagles Nest sponsored activities will be cancelled for the season. This includes the Monday night campfire, donuts and kids program. The Nest will also not be open for the season. Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and bikes will still be available for your use. We will be sanitizing them frequently. We will also provide wipes in the office for you to wipe paddles and handles down before and after your use. Please consider bringing your own life jackets, helmets and sports balls. Motors and the pontoon are still available and will be sanitized between each rental. Docks, laundry, and fish cleaning remain available for your use.

Social Distancing

While the state is allowing us to operate the conditions do require us to follow social distancing protocol. Please respect social distancing guidelines for the safety of other guests and to ensure that we can remain open for the entire season.
